yesterday teresa and I picked up some final touches for my room. It included:
-a picture hanging kit to hang up a framed picture from the honeymoon
-a cream colored ottoman to be placed at the end of the bed
-a cream colored ottoman to be placed at the end of the bed
-a matching pillow to jazz it up (Denver calls it the "lovebird pillow.")
-a brown wooden tray
-a candle plate
-a festive fall candle
-a photo albumn
-a festive fall candle
-a photo albumn
-a square vase filled with brown wicker-like balls
I've decided you can decorate your entire home in Target. I love Target!
So exciting! I just love my room it is so inviting. I had always dreamed of the day I would be picking things out for my first place. Which leads me to some good news-it looks like Denver and I have our first place up at school! Happy day!
Somedays it all doesn't seem real. Sometimes I ask myself if I really am married to such a wonderful guy, if I really am halfway done with COLLEGE, and will it really be time to start a family in a few years? Kind of funny how time flies. I always used to hear people say that (still do!) and never really believed them. How funny! Time flies by everyday!

ReplyDeleteYour room looks great! So polished and so stylish. And the apartment is very exciting news as well. You will always have fond memories of your "first place." Ours was a basement apartment where running the toaster and the hair-dryer (or any combination of appliances) at the same time would trip the circuit breaker. Good times. :)

ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have your bedroom all furnished and decorated already! Kent and I have spent so much time on the rest of our house, and our bedroom has been the last thing on our minds, so it's pretty sad right now.

And yeah, time goes SO fast. I can't believe I've been married for almost two years now, that I'm a college graduate, and that I have a baby. I still feel like I'm eighteen.
I just love your room! That little bird pillow is the absolute cutest, and I love where you positioned it. And Target is a great source! They have a lot of top flight designers create product for them, too. I like your room colors... I'm thinking of doing one with pale blue walls and chocoate toile. Am playing with that idea right now.
